We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Swancote Energy park on Sunday 5th September.

We welcome all new players from age 4 to 17 to our club which is family and fun focused whilst also delivering the very best of junior coaching in the region.
Colts will train from 9.30am.

All other Age Grade Rugby will start training at 10.30.

Please park responsibly, and drive carefully as many players will be walking in the car park area to the pitches.

There will be a paper Consent forms for all parents to sign and help with any GMS issue by Nerys or contact her on percyandnerys@btconnect.com

The shift to the next set of age group rules is delayed until 1 January 2022.

We need to ensure players and coaches do not miss vital building blocks for a safe and manageable introduction to the full contact game. The rules delay means, as an example, U9s in 2020-21 still become U10s in 2021-22 but will play U9 rules from September to December and U10 rules from January. This will also be the case throughout the boys-only age groups at U12 onwards.

Please note, all players still do move up an age group for the 2021-22 season as in any other year. The rules are the difference, not their age group.

Covid

There are now no restrictions on how many people can take part in sport and physical activity, or on the activities they can do. Rugby activity and events can take place with no capacity caps for participants or spectators provided they can be safely accommodated. However, as most age grade players are currently unvaccinated, it is important that clubs and individuals continue to follow guidance, maintain best practice for hygiene and social distancing and have mitigation measures to reduce the risk of transmission.

SELF SCREENING It remains highly recommended that clubs continue to have a process in place to confirm and record that participants who are planning to attend the club have undertaken a Covid19 self-assessment. Ideally this should be completed prior to arrival at the venue. Please complete the Covid checker Proactive app - your link will be given to you by your manager.

Please do not attend if you have any of these symptoms - A high temperature, A new continuous cough, Short of breath, A sore throat, Loss of or change in normal sense of taste or smell, Feeling generally unwell, Persistent tiredness Been in close contact with/living with a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 in the previous two weeks. Are you or anyone in your household/bubble self-isolating whilst waiting for a test or test results for Covid-19?
