Works on the new Clubhouse at the Edgar Davies Ground progressed this month with

-delivery and erection of the steelwork and the delivery and installation of the precast pre-stressed concrete planks being completed.

-levelling work to the floors has been done and the initial screeding has been completed.

-road crossing to take the mains drainage across the Bandon Lane has also been completed and

-footings completed for the steel and precast concrete stairs and ramps to gain access to the elevated floor level of the Clubhouse.

Works due for commencement in March include

-masonry work involving the internal block work partitions and the external facing brickwork,

-installation and concreting of the Stepoc system to complete the retaining wall structure at the south end of the building,

-backfilling of the voids next to the retaining wall will be completed when the concrete has reached its required strength and

-installation of the access stairs and ramps will commence to form the entrances to the building.

-procurement of further elements of the building including the roof sheeting, cladding and mechanical and electrical installations continues.

We are very grateful for the several photographs of site progress which have been published by Dave Cooper and which Members may have seen and the attached photographs show the completed steelwork and precast planks installation as well as the initial screeding works upon which the internal partitions will be built.

This is the view of the pitch available to members once the building is completed.

Halls Estate Agents are still in the process of marketing the Bull in Bridge Street and have kept us regularly informed on progress where there is continued interest in the market locally and further afield in the West Midlands. We will keep Members updated on progress with potential buyers as the sale process continues.

We will continue to issue regular reports to Members on the progress of what is a major project for our Rugby Club and if you do have any queries or wish to discuss any of these matters please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
