It was all about scrum focus at tonight's Women's XV training, while the backs ran through their fancy moves!

We are so lucky as a team, to have a wealth of talent in the club to call upon for some detailed skill or set piece coaching.

Club members who are generous with their time to help and develop our players, team and the game.
Tonight the forwards, enough for 2 packs!, with a mix of experienced players with new players, were lucky enough to have Midlands Premier Prop, Joe Cave for an in depth scrummaging session, his knowledge and explanations were invaluable to the players, who after tonight have gained a full understanding of the details of scrummaging.
Breaking down the scrum, building it back up with every player and position having full knowledge of their task, requirements and doing it with player safely paramount, is a skill not seen very often in a forwards coach, he's certainly the most knowledgeable scrum coach we've had.
This season we've introduced a player mentoring scheme, where senior players are mentoring and budding up with a less experienced player. This work and respect for each other could be seen developing and helping each other out tonight.
Well done to all, great training session, focused, positive and showed great ability to work well as a team.
💚🖤
Many Thanks Cavey, for a great session!
