Firstly I apologise for this report covering the last two months but I have recently been busy trying not to die.

The works done in the period of March and April include

- substantial completion of the brickwork up to first floor level including the filling of the voids in the brickwork columns
- commencement of the block work and brickwork at first floor level external walls including first lift of scaffolding installed.
- delivery and installation of the fabricated galvanised staircases at the building entrances.
- commencement of the ramps to the main entrance including the backfilling of the voids adjacent to the retaining walls.
- completion of the gas main installation across Bandon Lane to the Gas meter box on site

Works scheduled for May include

- installation of roof decking sheets with the fascias, soffits and guttering to follow.
- commencement of internal block work partitions and continuing the external brickwork installations at first floor level including the next lifts of scaffolding for access to upper walls and edge protection for roof installation.
- commencement of screeding works to first floor level
- completion of precast concrete ramps at main entrance including associated backfilling and brickwork
- procurement of work packages for finishing trades and mechanical and electrical installations.

The contractor is busy setting out for the internal rooms and common areas and also to achieve the uniform finished floor level in order that the screed levels accommodate the convex nature of the prestressed precast concrete flooring.
