We are delighted to have Zac joining the coaching team this season, bringing with him a wealth of experience. Zac started his rugby journey with Bridgnorth Mini and Juniors, studying at Ellesmere College. He played North Midlands Youth and England Schools. He played for Worcester Warriors, Oriental Rongotai in New Zealand and Moseley before returning to Bridgnorth. Thank you Zac!
We are delighted to welcome Charlie Ralph to the Bulls coaching team, who will be working along side Orv this season. Charlie a Bridgnorth M&J at age 11/12. He returned to play at 17 (2001) for Terry Jones in the thirds at 10,12 & 15. Progressing into the Development XV squad under Gary Markevics and H Bullock. After a couple of seasons of 2XV where they won the Shropshire second team cup moved up into the 1’st XV with a lot of home grown guys. The same season they were promoted to midlands 2 West after a play off showdown with Hereford. He played first team fly half for 5 seasons from 2006 switching to 12 and 15 under various coaches. Bryan, Dale, Orv, Tim Growcott. Then in 2011 he was forced to retire after fracturing a C6 vertebrae. This then led him into coaching the M&Js for 5 seasons working with some current senior players in their younger days achieving RFU level 2 coaching. Thank you Charlie for your dedication to the club, and can't wait to see what you can do for the Bulls.
Gareth Bladen, the man with Bridgnorth RFC running through his veins will this season take on the Player Coach role for the Bulls team. Coming through the ranks from our Mini and Juniors, with 400+ 1st XV caps, he will be an amazing asset to our Bulls. Gareth is also taking on Membership Secretary and the management of the 400 Club. He's also on the coaching team for our U9. 🖤💚Thank you Gareth for your continued long running service to our club.
