As we continue to strengthen our men and women’s playing squads, we are attracting ambitious players from across the UK and beyond. Many of these talented individuals combine their rugby commitments with successful professional careers and are keen to establish themselves in the local community.

Our business and careers networking lunch has been created to bring together local businesses, club sponsors, Vice Presidents, club members and prospective players in a professional yet informal setting. It is a chance to build relationships, experience our club facilities and strengthen links between our club and businesses within the community.

The players we attract, coupled with values developed through rugby, offer many of the qualities employers value such as; leadership, innovation, discipline and teamwork, along with an excellent work ethic. Many are highly qualified, professionally experienced and looking for long term careers in the region, allowing them to continue their rugby journey.

However, this is not just intended as a one-off lunch, we are keen to collaborate long term with those businesses who attend in the following areas:

· Network and highlight your company/brand at our lunch with fellow business leaders

· Be part of a business forum in the region that shares ideas and opportunities with the intention of business progression

· Companies will be invited to careers evenings at the club to showcase their industry and business to our club members considering their career paths

· We would like to support recruitment at your company by highlighting a talent pool and promoting employment opportunities

· Meet motivated, educated and committed individuals

Whether you are actively recruiting, planning future growth, offering apprenticeships, graduate vacancies or require part or full-time reliable team members, we would be delighted to welcome you and give you access to a high-quality talent pool which could potentially reduce recruitment costs.

Our lunch will be held at the Bridgnorth Rugby Clubhouse, on Friday 4th September from 12.30pm.

Our Club Chairman will host the event with an experienced corporate Master of Ceremonies David Kurk and our very popular guest speaker Sam Warburton, ex Wales, British and Irish Lions captain, business owner and TV pundit.

A table of 10 will be £980 to include a 4 course meal.

Individual tickets are £98 per person.

We are limited to 150, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We really look forward to welcoming you to this inspiring and collaborative event.
