Bridgnorth Rugby club held a wonderful Ladies day on Saturday celebrate and applaud the massive contribution that the Ladies of the club make to the ongoing success of Bridgnorth Rugby Club. Grandmas, mums, aunties, daughters, sisters, players, managers, volunteers, bar and kitchen teams deserve our thanks for all that they do.
Special thanks go to Kaz, Liz, Nerys, Fran, Lindz, Dani and others who give freely of their time to make our club what it is today.
Guest to the lunch were Andy Killey representing The Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Neill Flannery from The Bridgnorth Lions (Prostate Testing) and Peter Gosling of Prostate Cancer UK, the 3 charities were given a £1000 donation each for their worthy causes.
A previous pre match rugby meal was held and the raffle takings donated in memory of former player Bill Poole, who passed recently.
The club is very proud of its ongoing efforts to support such causes, both at a national and local level.
