Bethan and I have been blown away by the support and kindness shown to us in recent weeks and particularly by the number of you that were able to take time to join us at Alun’s funeral ... SO appreciated
Words are inadequate to express our gratitude for the expressions and offers of help and support, for the cards, food, flowers, periods of silence and echoes of clapping and the video of the wonderful and very poignant tribute to Alun at the EDG
They have helped us immeasurably to come to terms with our enormous loss.
Life will never be the same but like all things, hopefully, will evolve
Many people have asked about the poem that Bethan recited in the service and the one around the card we distributed. They are both from the same anthology by Rudi Kaur - the sun and the flowers - time , community.
